Crossing the list

A month ago I wrote:

Im still alive and still going like a freight train towards my goals.

It seems the freight train has come to a brief intermission. Here’s where I’m standing:

  • Swim one mile by December 2005 (Im up to 1KM now) (Did that today, non-stop)
  • Launch a new CTLT website by September 22, 2005 (Lots of testing to do still, around 170 pages completely overhauled to XHTML/CSS) (launched on the date, some problems here and there)
  • 4.0 Grade Point Average (December 2005)
  • Unveil new Gamma Delta website by October 10th ( (launched on date, still disseminating the info for the guys)
  • Assist with form-mailers, SEO, and training of their staff for posting files to the web (Finish it up this coming week)
  • Rework our approach to the MSU labstats system, clean up the code and maybe open up the source (November 2005) (this is done, awaiting some further implementation)

Things are fairly well. They’ll be a lot better next Friday afternoon when I actually get a break.

    Hey, kid.

  2. Good job buddy – I suppose we could break down “our goals” into achievable little pieces and start striking them out. That obviously works for you – and we need to stay focused! hahaha.

    You ROCK!

I got all the labs moved over to the new way of collecting stats this weekend. We are writing directly to MySQL now from a VB login script 🙂
You got to love ODBC. So now we can move on to the “awaiting some further implementation” part of your post.

  4. Very impressive… that is quite a checklist you put together, and I believe you have it in a choke hold. I bet if you keep squeezing, it will tap out around the time grades come out in December.

    That was a terrible analogy.

Congrats…Do you swim in the wellness center…How many laps make a mile?
