Sin embargo, en cientos de presentaciones en las que he estado presente es Power Point el que se roba el espectáculo. Con sus animaciones, sonidos, capacidad para incluir videos y otros efectos, el usuario está malacostumbrado a incluir cuanto objeto sea posible por diapositiva, distrayendo al oyente y evitando una concentración en la charla.Varios han hablado de los problemas que puede causar el mal uso de sistemas de diapositivas como Power Point. Deja de molestar al público con un PowerPoint malo es un ejemplo de este tipo de análisis. En inglés tenemos lecturas como The Cognitive Style of Power Point: Pitching out Corrupts Within, que luego fueron comentadas en la revista Wired con la nota de PowerPoint Is Evil. “Hay una diferencia entre usar la tecnología y usarla eficientemente”, destaca en la lectura de Power Point Sucks.
